Our pearl tulle bridal cape looks divine with a simple slip dress, or equally sensational over a gown with a fuller skirt. Layered over a clean line fabric, the pearls provide just the right level of detail without taking away from the outfit underneath. Creation

Producing our pearl cape

When sewing tulle, there’s no margin for error. Seams have to be neatly cut and sewn, to remain subtle and barely there. Our partner atelier in Derbyshire make each item to order, it’s then QC’d by us in the Hope Valley, before being carefully packed ready for courier to your door.

Frequently asked questions

Can bespoke changes be made to the Juniper cape?

During production we can make the train length shorter. Please get in touch with us for any bespoke requests prior to your order. Alternatively, you could shorten or adapt the cape to your desired length during bridal alterations. Any offcuts could be made into something else by your seamstress - the pearl tulle makes for a gorgeous hair bow or mini veil!
Does the neckline sit in the same place during wear?

Due to the wide neckline and length of fabric down the train, the cape will naturally sit closer to the neck during wear. If you have a bridal outfit with straps, you can fix the cape in place to reduce movement. Adding a fixing (invisible popper, hook & eye) to the shoulder points of your straps and likewise on the inside of the cape, will keep the cape fixed in a specific place.

Which shades of ivory does this work best with?

We’ve tried and tested our Juniper Pearl Cape over a wide range of bridal styles. The pearls blend beautifully across all shades of ivory. If you’d like to see the fabric and pearls in real life before ordering, we recommend purchasing a swatch of the Juniper fabric.
