Featuring a delicate collar with scalloped eyelash lace edging, our Violet lace cape has a barely there feel to wear. Crafted from the lightest lace, with floral patterns and pearlescent petals, it adds subtle detail whilst keeping your bridal outfit clearly visible underneath. Edged across the front, down the sides and around the train with eyelash lace, it looks incredible from all angles.

Lace. The perfect partner for a clean line bridal outfit. The Violet bridal cape lets your dress or outfit clearly shine through, whilst those floral details look more beautiful the closer you get. Light and supple enough to lift towards the collarbones, you can style it as a bridal scarf as well as a cape.

The collection has been designed in the heart of the Peak District and inspired by it. Versatility has been integral to what we’ve created, and though we’re surrounded by countryside, our capes are just as at home in an urban setting. Years of experience in styling brides and working with bridal brands has been the foundation of our collection. Made for the modern bride, to style your way.

Frequently asked questions

Can this be produced without the collar?

If you love the lace but prefer a different neckline, take a look at the Viola cape. Exactly the same in length, edging and train but crafted with a wide neckline without the collar detailing of Violet.

Can I try the Violet cape before ordering?

A selection of our samples are available to try at Alexandra Anne in Hathersage. We will be expanding to an exclusive number of stockists so please do keep checking our stockist listings. In the meantime we advise ordering a fabric swatch.

Can I buy a cape before I’ve said yes to my bridal outfit?

If you love it, then go for it! The Violet cape will work with most bridal styles except for necklines such as high halters or a lace that doesn’t complement the Violet lace. If you are happy to choose your bridal outfit knowing there may be a (very slightly) smaller pool of bridal styles to choose from then you can of course lead by an accessory.
